Altered Art Week

We really hope you all enjoyed playing along in last weeks "Taking to the Skies" Challenge.

We really enjoyed viewing them all and appreciate all the entries. Lots of creative works out there that's for sure. Unfortunately we can pick only one winner and this weeks randomly chosen winner is:

Number 15

Please contact the TioT email address about a Guest spot.

This week is altered week which is so generously sponsored by our good friends over at

Once again they are giving one very lucky winner a £15.00 voucher to spend in the shop. So someone is going to have fun shopping! It may be you!

Remember though, to be entered into the prize draw you must add a link to "The craft Barn" in your blog post!

Now onto this weeks theme and it is "Fabric". We want to see all those wonderful altered creations incorporating fabric or fabric themed items. It could be as simple as a piece of material or maybe even a fabric texture. It's your choice and only limited by your creativity so have fun with it.

As an added surprise this week we have a very special little Guest Designer "TJ" an eight year old Creative genius. Tj has joined us in previous challenges and wowed us with her wonderful works of art. TJ decided to join is for the Altered Art week and already had a project in mind and here is the outcome!

and if you do not believe she did it herself here is the proof.

Isn't she great! Now for more on her bag and TJ you can visit her link on her Mums blog here.

Now onto the rest of the Design teams inspiration for the week.

  1. Very fun--my favorite backgrounds are made of all types of repurposed (altered) papers!
